The clinical team have a holistic approach to treatment, which ensures the specialist
skills of each clinician maximises the potential for recovery as well as improving biomechanical function to prevent
re-injury. The key to this is the team approach applied within our clinics.

Our Orthotists are HPC registered and members of the British
Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO).
Robbie Rooney

of Strathclyde with a BSc Honours degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics in 1996, and is currently
consultant Orthotist to Motherwell FC.
Robbie has also provided orthotic consultation to a number of
professional rugby league squads across the north of England and a large number of professional athletes. During
his time working within the Leeds NHS Trust, Robbie was the Lead clinician in this; one of the largest orthotic services within
the UK.

Orthotics
 Libby Rooney
BSc (Hons), SR Orth,
Libby also graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow with a BSc Honours degree in Orthotics
& Prosthetics in 2003. Since qualifying, Libby has worked at the world renowned St James' Hospital in Leeds specialising
in paediatric orthotics. Within this NHS Trust, she developed and ran a specialised rehabilitation gait analysis clinic where
orthoses/orthotics were 'fine tuned'. Specialist areas of knowledge include; - Foot & Ankle Biomechanics
